About OpenComputer.

OpenComputer is a cloud for AI agents. You write an agent; OpenComputer runs it on its own computer, keeps its sessions durable, and holds the credentials it uses so they never enter the runtime. It is built and operated by Digger, the team behind the open-source Digger infrastructure-as-code orchestrator.

    What we build

    • Serverless Agents: a managed runtime for agents defined as code in TypeScript. OpenComputer handles deployments, model execution, tools, durable sessions, memory, schedules, webhooks, and connections to GitHub, Slack and Linear.
    • Computers: every agent works in a full Linux VM with hardware-level isolation via KVM. VMs are long-running, can be checkpointed and forked, resized at runtime, and hibernated when idle.
    • Agents we run ourselves: Factory, a coding agent in Slack that opens pull requests, and Clawputer, a personal assistant with its own computer.

    How we work

The platform is developed in the open on GitHub, and we write about what we learn running agent infrastructure on the blog and in technical guides. Teams building agent products can work with us directly as design partners.
